DIC South Asia and DIC Ideal Launch Joint Plant in India: Manufacturing facility for Resin Manufacturing

In February 2024, DIC Corporation’s subsidiaries, DIC South Asia (DSA) and DIC Ideal Private Limited (Previously known as Ideal Chemi Plast Pvt. Ltd.), unveiled their latest endeavor: the SUPA Plant, housing a cutting-edge coating resins manufacturing plant in India. This facility is expansion of the present plant of DIC Ideal Pvt. Ltd. Badlapur.

Recognizing India’s burgeoning coating resins market, with an annual growth rate of approximately 9%, DIC is strategically positioning itself to capitalize on this promising landscape.

The inauguration of the SUPA Plant has tripled DIC Ideal’s production capacity for coating resins, positioning it for accelerated growth in India. This new facility embraces eco-friendly practices, including a Zero Liquid Discharge system and energy-efficient equipment, in alignment with DIC Group’s 2030 Vision to support sustainability.

With a focus on localized solutions and regional outreach, the new production facility is poised to play a pivotal role in supplying coating resins across South Asia, as well as catering to markets in the Middle East and Africa.
