PALS Learning Center Successfully Completes Free 6-Week Summer Learning Loss Program for Grades 1-8

Piscataway - Edison, Jul 24 — PALS Learning Center is proud to announce the successful completion of its free 6-week Summer Learning Loss Program designed for students from grades 1 to 8. This initiative aimed to bridge the educational gap and keep students engaged in learning throughout the summer months.

Program Overview

The Summer Learning Loss Program, held from July 8^th 2024 to Aug 15^th provided a comprehensive curriculum covering essential subjects including math and reading. The program was split into two main segments:

• Reading: Over six weeks, students were introduced to six different books, each representing a unique genre. This approach not only enhanced their reading skills but also broadened their literary horizons.

• Math: The math segment focused on reviewing and reinforcing concepts learned in the corresponding grades, ensuring that students retained and strengthened their foundational math skills.

Community Impact

The program was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from both students and parents. Over 100 students participated, benefiting from instruction. Feedback from parents highlighted significant improvements in their children’s academic skills and a renewed interest in learning.
