Rabbits are bred for meat, but also as pets. Guinea pigs or hamsters are bred as pets. They all reproduce very quickly. The biggest problem is the stench that spreads when their feces are cleaned.

This problem can be solved by adding worms to their feces. Worms eat feces, and make tiny channels through which air enters the feces. When air enters the feces, unpleasant odors disappear. In order for earthworms to live in the feces, it is best to place the feces on a hammock under the rabbits. Thus air enters the feces from all sides. The worms process the faeces into humus which falls to the ground through the net. Thanks to this, the faeces no longer need to be cleaned. The feces need to be moist so that the worms can process them. Therefore, in summer it needs to be watered with a little water every few days. During the winter watering can be infrequent.

From 1 cubic meter of feces, about 0.25 cubic meters of very high quality humus is created, which is excellent for fertilizing flowers and plants.

Under this kennel can be kept chickens that like to eat earthworms.

The kennel can be placed in the yard, on the balcony, terrace, or on the tops of buildings.

Rabbits can be fed vegetable waste from the kitchen, or garden.

The advantage of this kennel is in;

  1. no unpleasant odors,

  2. ensured ecological disposal of vegetable waste from the kitchen or garden,

  3. less work on rabbit breeding,

  4. humus as an additional product,

  5. earthworms as an additional product.

By using such cages, it is possible to breed without the danger of resentment from neighbors who are bothered by unpleasant odors. They won’t even notice you growing something in the yard.

The size of the cage depends on the size of the rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters. Larger rabbits also need larger cages. Small ornamental rabbits and guinea pigs need smaller cages, and hamsters can be very small. They can be made from discarded boards and a little plasticized wire according to the system itself master.
